Cyber security specialist, Reliance Cyber, has appointed Luke Hull as Chief Technology Officer, as the business invests in upgrading its security capabilities and commits to further enhancing its service offering to clients.
In his new role, Luke is already working closely with clients and the delivery teams at Reliance Cyber to set a new technical direction and programme of work that will ensure the business stays at the cutting edge of the information security field. Luke’s new strategy also allows Reliance Cyber customers to take advantage of data science and intelligence advances that would normally only be accessible to a small minority within the community.
Luke’s career spans 22 years in the Information Security sector, specialising in both managed and consultancy services. Luke previously worked at Mandiant, as one of its first employees outside of the USA, where he focused on detection and response capability transformation for some of the largest organisations in EMEA.
Subsequently, Luke joined Cylance where he built out large parts of the non-US business and worked to integrate its AI capabilities with its incident response and MDR services.

Luke has already redesigned Reliance Cyber’s XDR service offering and is now working to ensure that clients see a tangible increase in value through the informational advantages and architected journeys that can be realised by leveraging multiple connected Reliance acsn services.
